Great Britain & London Residents Squad Trials |

Try Tag Rugby is proud to announce further details regarding trials & training dates for the Great Britain and London Residents teams for the upcoming series of test matches against Ireland and Tonga.
Great Britain will take on Ireland in Limerick on July 12th at open mixed, men’s and ladies’ level. The test series for the British & Irish Cup, will take place on the eve of The Pig 'n' Porter Tag Rugby Festival, which is the biggest tag festival in the world.
In August, the Tongan over 30’s men’s team will be touring England and Ireland. The tour will start with a match against the London Residents over 30’s on August 15th and conclude with a match against Great Britain men's over 30’s on August 20th. In the middle the Tongan men will compete in the men’s league of the London Tag Rugby Championships on August 17th, providing stiff competition for the best men’s teams in London.

As Try Tag Rugby continues to grow, with more venues, more competitions, and more players and teams getting involved, we are pleased to announce the appointment of Mark Lee in the role of Competition Supervisor to support this growth.
Mark will be responsible for overseeing the successful and professional running of four weeknight competitions across London during the busy spring and summer seasons. Mark will also be working behind the scenes on a number of projects to help ensure the continual growth and development of Try Tag Rugby.

The team at Try Tag Rugby have partnered up with our Tag Rugby playing friends across the Irish sea, the Irish Tag Rugby Association (ITRA) and the London Irish Rugby club to introduce to you the inaugural Hog & Ale Tag Rugby Festival. The Hog & Ale Tag Rugby Festival will be held on Saturday, 4th May at the London Irish ARFC's home ground, located at the avenue, Sunbury-on-Thames TW16 5EQ. Sunbury rail station is a 45 minute journey from Waterloo station.
