Wasps Tag Rugby Festival sells-out
The annual Try Tag Rugby Wasps Tag Rugby Festival is now officially sold-out with 65 teams set to take part on Saturday 1st April.
The 2016 event was itself a record-breaking sell-out featuring 50 teams and over 500 players. With increased capacity, this year’s festival will be Try Tag Rugby’s biggest ever event.
Speaking back in January about the event Try Tag Rugby Managing Director Alistair Davis said: “As the first major teams event of the year, the Wasps Tag Rugby Festival has always been a highlight in the Tag Rugby calendar.
“Building on last year’s sell-out event, we’ve taken feedback on board and made sure the event doesn’t clash with the regular Saturday league fixtures. This combined with an increased capacity means a larger proportion of our community can get involved.
"With the sheer numbers of players taking part I can’t wait to see the buzz on the day and the scale of the after party.”
For teams missing out on the Wasps Festivals the next major team one-day event is the Try Tag Rugby Tournament @ Summer Social on Saturday 3rd June in Richmond, followed by our flagship event the London Tag Rugby Championships on Saturday 1st July. We have an earlybird discount in place for the London Tag Rugby Championships of £150 per team if signed up and paid in full before 9am Thursday 13th April.
