The size of the gaps you can run through and a lot of the lines you can run are similar to contact Rugby. There are no arguments over fake touches and it’s not all just about getting a quick play the ball, players need to be able to manipulate and break down defences with the ball and be creative! As a result speed isn’t the be all and end all, a ball handling prop can often have as much impact on a game as a fleet footed winger!
* Minimal organising time and effort!
For your Club to organise its own touch or tag competition over summer takes a lot of organisation, time and effort. Try Tag Rugby takes all this away, all you have to do is get a team together and we do the rest! Our player management system even notifies players of fixtures and checks their availability for you! Results, tables and player of the match awards are all also available online the following day.

If you run a session at your club during the off season, you are more than likely going to get the same players coming along each week. By entering a Try Tag Rugby competition there will be different teams and players to play against each week, ensuring you don’t get bored and that you have to adapt and stay on your toes.

We have mixed, men’s and ladies leagues to suit all standards from beginner through to A Grade. In the A Grade you will find players from all over the world and some of the best Tag Rugby Players in UK and Europe! We can help you pick a league to suit the standard you want, whether that be extremely social to the very competitive.

You will be partnering up with one of the fastest growing sports organisations in London which has over 4,000 registered players on its books, many of which are interested in Rugby (playing full contact Rugby). HOW DOES THE CASH BACK OFFER WORK?
Just get a group of people together from your Club (it doesn’t have to be current players, Tag Rugby can be played by all – former players, administrators, supporters, coaches, partners, junior team mums and dads, friends of players etc.) and register for one of the competitions included in this offer. The number of teams you enter will determine how much cash back you receive.
One team in one competition = 25% cash back
Two teams in one competition = 30% cash back
Three teams in one competition = 40% cash back
Four competitions are included in the offer, these are:
1/ Spring Season – 7 to 8 weeks from March to April 
Venues include: Balham, Barnes, Bermondsey, Borough, Finsbury Park, Highbury, Shoreditch Park, Rotherhithe, Southfields, Tooting Bec and White City.
Registration for these leagues has now closed.
2/ Early Summer Season – 8 to 10 weeks from April to June
Leagues include:
Mixed leagues: Acton, Balham, Borough, Canada Water, East London Rugby Club, Finsbury Park, Fulham, Highbury, Hoxton, Reading, Richmond, Shoreditch, Southfields, Wandsworth Town.
Men's leagues: Balham, East London Rugby Club, Finsbury Park, Shoreditch Park and Wandsworth.
Ladies' leagues: Balham & Shoreditch.

3/ Late Summer Season – 7 to 10 weeks from July to August

4/ 2013 London Tag Rugby Championships - Saturday 17th August @ East London Rugby Club
London’s biggest Adult Tag Rugby competition with over 40 teams expected to enter from London, the UK, Ireland and around the world. Mixed Champions League, Mixed Intermediate & Beginner's Leagues and a Men’s competition. An amazing day of Tag Rugby followed by a legendary Tag Rugby after party! Not a bad way to start the Rugby Union pre-season!
Please note: Entering one team in three different competitions i.e. Spring, Early Summer, and Late Summer does not qualify you for 40% cash back. In order to receive the additional cash back, two or three teams must be entered in the same competition Eg. In early summer competitions you could enter one team at Wandsworth Town and one team at Balham, as both teams are in the early summer competitions both teams would receive 30% cash back.
Cash will be transferred into the Rugby Club Bank Account within two weeks of completing the competition. See below for full terms and conditions of this offer.
Note: Cash back will only be paid into the Rugby Club Bank Account. Cash back will not be paid into personal bank accounts.
HOW DO I REGISTER A TEAM? 
If you are interested in entering a team or arranging a taster session please send an e-mail to carlduckels@trytagrugby.com. Please note that the deadline for registering for all competitions is one week prior to the start date of the competition.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
1/ Full Try Tag Rugby Terms and Conditions Apply. Click here for details.
2/ All players must be registered on the Try Tag Rugby system via our website. If players in the team are not registered on the Try Tag Rugby system, Try Tag Rugby reserves the right to cancel the cash back offer. New players can join the team during the competition, however their details must be added to the squad list. Important: Players not detailed on the Try Tag Rugby system are not covered by our insurance policy.
3/ Payment for the team should be coordinated by one person, this person will collect the individual fees from players in the squad and make one payment to Try Tag Rugby. Direct payments from individual players towards a team fee will not be accepted by Try Tag Rugby.
4/ All leagues must be paid for in no more than two installments. A £100 deposit is due at the time of registration to confirm a place in a league. The outstanding balance for a competition should be paid by Round two of the competition at the latest. In the case of the London Tag Rugby Championships full payment must have been received one week before the tournament. If any payments are late, then Try Tag Rugby reserve the right to cancel the cash back offer.
5/ A Club cannot use this offer for more than three teams.
6/ Cash back will only be paid into the sport clubs bank account. Cash back will not be paid into personal bank accounts. Cash will be transferred into the sports club bank account within two weeks of completing the competition.
7/ If your team has to forfeit a game, your cash back total will be reduced by 25% of the overall total for each game forfeited.
8/ The cash back offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other Try Tag Rugby offer. An exception to this our general player benefits.
9/ The deadline for taking advantage of the cash back offer is one week prior to the start date of the competitions included in the offer. Notification must be sent in writing to Carl Duckels by this time, or you will not be eligible for the cash back offer.
10/ Try Tag Rugby has a limited number of spaces available for teams using this offer at each venue. Use of this offer does not guarantee space at any of the competitions or venues. Availability of space for teams to join a competition will be confirmed at the time of registration.
11/ The venues for our Early Summer and Late Summer competitions are still being finalised and those venues listed above are therefore subject to change.
12/ Taster Sessions – a minimum of 10 people are required for a taster session to be held.
13/ All clubs who are signed up to the club cash back offer must adhere to Try Tag Rugby's, rules and regulations. If players from your club are sent off for misconduct or if the team is banned from a league due to misconduct, Try Tag Rugby reserves the right to cancel the cash back offer.
