14th June 2025
10:00 am - 00:00 am
Wigan St Cuthberts, Montrose Avenue, Wigan, Greater Manchester, WN5 9XN
TagFest Wigan 2024 saw 14 teams battle it out as we continued our partnership with Wigan St.Cuthberts ARLFC. Alongside the magnificent tag rugby action on display we had the traditional lunchtime Tug Of War contest and our hotly contested but always fun annual pie eating competition. The legendary after party, dancing and drinking the night way into the early hours rounded off a fabulous day.
We are excited to once again be given the honour of being the first Northern TagFest of the TagFest Series. TagFest Wigan will see the welcome return of the pie eating competition that has become synonymous with TagFest Wigan since its inception. Over the coming months we will be announcing further activities along with the fancy dress theme for the tournament. In addition, we will be able to announce details of our after party.
TagFest Wigan 2025 will continue at Wigan St.Cuthberts ARLFC, just a 25-30 minute walk from Wigan’s main train stations. Wigan is a short distance from Manchester and due to it being on the West Coast mainline is just two hours on the train from London.
