Tagmas is back in South London for one of the biggest nights of the year! It’s your last chance to get your tag fix before Christmas, and this one is set to be a cracker.
We’ll be playing 6-a-side mixed tag (three men and three women per team) in a small-sided, fast-paced format. Every team will get plenty of game time across the evening, with a minimum of 52 minutes guaranteed, and four competition levels — Cup, Plate, Bowl and Shield – to play for.
How it works
For the pool stage, eight teams will play at our Waterloo venue and eight teams will play at Kennington. Your venue for the pool stage will be drawn at random.
After that, all teams will progress to semi-final stages, with winners playing on and losers heading to the pub. All semi-finals will be held at Kennington, so teams starting at Waterloo will need to make their way over for the second phase.
The journey between venues takes around 30 minutes on foot or 15 minutes by bus, and we’ll build enough time into the schedule for everyone to make it across without stress.
It might sound like a bit of a trek, but it’s worth it! You’ll end the night exactly where the after party takes place, at the Hanover Arms.
The After Party
Once the finals wrap up, the Hanover Arms will be the place to be. Expect plenty of Christmas outfits, festive chaos, a few shots, and a lot of good times as 150–200 players take over the pub until closing at 2am. It’s the perfect place to celebrate, unwind, and round off the year with your teammates.

Registration

Team places are available on a first-to-register basis and are strictly limited to 16 teams.
Early-bird priority:
Existing Kennington & Waterloo league teams will have an exclusive window to register until 2pm on Wednesday 29th October. After that, the event will go live on the website and open to all teams. This event sold out in under two weeks last year so don’t delay securing your spot.
