Refereeing

The team at Try Tag Rugby are always on the lookout for more referees across all our venues in London, Thames Valley, Yorkshire and Manchester.

You can start in the social grade and depending on progress potentially work your way up to refereeing representative games and even possibly at the 2018 Tag Rugby World Cup in Australia!

Refereeing Tag Rugby is a great way to get fit, stay involved and have plenty of fun. We can be flexible around your work or playing commitments. You have the opportunity to referee from as little as one game per week up to seven days per week. If weekday evenings are no good or you just want to referee some additional games then we also need referees for our one-day tournaments. All referees are well trained and well looked after. We understand that high quality referees are a very important part of the Try Tag Rugby experience.

Try Tag Rugby hold regular practical referee workshops and classroom based forums, for referees to ask rule questions, gain knowledge & experience and liaise with other Tag Rugby referees to gain greater consistency across the board. Once you're a trained Try Tag Rugby referee and you start to referee regularly, you will also have the opportunity to referee Tag Rugby International matches and be eligible for the many rewards we have available for our referees.
