Manchester enjoys successful first season
Try Tag Rugby’s first ever league in Manchester has enjoyed a successful first season with over 50 new players involved playing on a weekly basis.
Try Tag Rugby Area Manager Carl Duckels said: “We’re really pleased with how the people of Manchester have taken to Tag Rugby, to have over 50 new people playing the sport on a weekly basis is great to see and we’re sure the league will continue to grow in the future.
“The players came from a variety of backgrounds with some having played Tag before in London but most being brand new to the sport.”
The five-team league began in May at Mancunians Sports Club in Chorlton, South Manchester, and culminates in the next couple of weeks. The Summer League begins on Tuesday 11th July. For further details and to sign up visit http://www.trytagrugby.com/locations/manchester-home/leagues/
