Franchise Opportunities with Try Tag Rugby
Did you previously play in a Try Tag Rugby league but have since moved to a part of the UK where there is no Tag Rugby?
Try Tag Rugby is looking for hard working, motivated people living in areas where we don't operate to become part-time or full-time franchisees and help us expand this great game across the country.
We've recently developed a new part-time franchising model aimed at people with a few hours spare each week, who are keen to get a Try Tag Rugby league going in their area.
To run a Try Tag Rugby franchise, you need to be energetic, organised, motivated and have a “can do” attitude. You will need to have good local knowledge and be great at establishing new contacts, because you’ll be responsible for finding suitable grounds for play and creating a buzz around this sport in your local area.
You don’t need to have managed a business or a sports league before – we’ll give you all the support you need to get up and running. However, you do need to be committed to putting the time and energy into building a league and getting out there in the local community to encourage participation.
We are looking for people who share our same enthusiasm for our sport and who would enjoy creating a vibrant, social and competitive local league. It's ideal if you have experience in playing and refereeing (or willing to get trained up as a referee) and buy into the social ethos of what Try Tag Rugby is all about.
With new areas set to take on Try Tag Rugby leagues, we are looking forward to launching our own national titles, similar to Oztag Australia's successful national titles on Saturday, 15th September in London. This could potentially see teams being represented from regions such as London (North, South, East & West), Manchester, the Thames Valley, Yorkshire etc in a one-day tournament format to see which region is crowned the national champions.
As a player, our future expansion plans will also give your team a chance for more fun filled Tag weekends away to other parts of the UK as 2018 will see the launch of the Manchester Tag Rugby Championships (13th October) and the continuation of the Thames Valley Tag Rugby Championships (14th July) and the Yorkshire Tag Rugby Championships (4th August). The Great Britain national teams will benefit with new areas taking up Try Tag Rugby leagues, as the player pool to select from will increase dramatically.
Try Tag Rugby continues to grow around the UK, with nearly 600 teams competing weekly last summer across London, Manchester, the Thames Valley and Yorkshire. There is no better time to get involved!
We are officially taking expressions of interest from potential part-time and full-time franchisees.
If you are interested in becoming a Try Tag Rugby franchisee in an area that we don't currently operate in, please email email@example.com providing information such as which town or city you would be interested in launching Try Tag Rugby in, why you think it would work in your area and some information about your professional background.
