New Men's League in Wakefield
Try Tag Rugby Yorkshire is pleased to announce plans for first Wakefield men's league, taking place at Clarence Park, starting 29th April.
Whilst mixed leagues have traditionally been most popular in Yorkshire, single sex leagues are the most popular form of the game in Australia and New Zealand and are becoming more and more popular throughout the UK.
Men's leagues are often more intense than mixed leagues and are recommend for male players looking for a competitive midweek runout.
Tag started as off-season training game for the St George Rugby League club in Australia back in 1992 and is an ideal game for improving core Rugby skills. Try Tag Rugby would like to invite off-season Rugby clubs or other sports teams to join the league. Being a Monday night league, it's unlikely to clash with summer training, so we'd love to see some local clubs get involved.
A special first season offer of £235 per team or £30 for players joining a team is available. For the specific details on the league, click here.
