London Corporate Challenge brings businesses together for sport and social impact

Tag Sports CIC’s London Corporate Challenge took place on Friday 29th May at the iconic Regent’s Park in the heart of central London, bringing together businesses from across the capital for an afternoon of sport, teamwork and fundraising.

Over three and a half hours of Tag Rugby action, teams representing a range of sectors, competed under glorious May sunshine in one of London’s most recognisable green spaces. The event showcased the power of sport to strengthen workplace relationships, promote wellbeing and connect colleagues outside the office environment.

The Carbon Tacklers and BTS progressed to the Cup Final, with spectators gathering around the pitch to cheer on the finalists. In a closely contested match, BTS secured victory to become London Corporate Challenge champions for the third consecutive year.

While the on-field competition provided plenty of excitement, the event’s impact extended far beyond the final whistle. The London Corporate Challenge raised vital funds for Tag Sports CIC, supporting its work with communities across the UK to encourage healthier, more active lifestyles through accessible Tag sports programmes.

In addition, £500 from the event will be donated to a charity chosen by the Cup winners, helping to create an even greater positive impact beyond the tournament itself.

The London Corporate Challenge continues to demonstrate how corporate team-building events can combine friendly competition, employee wellbeing and social impact, bringing organisations together through the shared enjoyment of sport.

Thank you to every player, supporter, and referee who helped make this year’s event such a success.
