We’re very excited to have secured a new winter venue in Balham, just over the fence from our long-standing summer pitches!
After nearly ten years of working to secure floodlights, Streatham & Clapham High School has finally been given the go-ahead. We’ll be among the first to play under them, with new Tuesday and Thursday leagues launching this November.
Two nights of Tag Rugby for all standards
Both evenings will feature mixed 6-a-side (three men and three women on the pitch) Tag Rugby on the school’s 2G astro pitch, with multiple divisions catering for beginner, intermediate and advanced teams.
The Thursday league starts on 19/11/2026 and Tuesday on 24/11/2026. Both seasons include nine league games, with an extended Christmas break.
We’re speaking to local pubs about a partnership and looking forward to plenty of post-match socials, giving you the chance to catch up with friends and make new ones.
Registration opens at 10am on 20/10/2026
Over 175 teams played in our South London leagues this summer, across parks in and around Clapham, Balham & Brixton. We’ve never had a weeknight winter venue this close to Balham, so we’re expecting huge interest from our local Tag Rugby community.
Capacity is limited on both nights. Whether you’re getting your old team back together or joining for the first time, set a reminder for 10am on Tuesday 20/10/2026.
Register as a full team, or sign up individually and we’ll find you a team.

Tagmas comes to Balham
We’ll also be hosting our famous Tagmas Christmas tournament at Balham Astro on Thursday 17/12/2026. This is a separate event, with registration opening in November.
New to Tag Rugby? Try it for free
Most of our players had never played rugby before joining, so you’ll be in good company. Our two free taster sessions before the leagues begin are a chance to learn the basics, meet other new players and give it a go.
