Try Tag Rugby’s Men’s & Women’s Tournament returned to action on Sunday as eight women’s and eight men’s teams met on the pitch at Wasps FC in an exciting display of competitive Tag that lit up an otherwise cloudy day.

Teams from Brighton, Bristol and Yorkshire joined those from London as this popular event looks toward a bright future.

The nature of the tournament meant two tight cup finals were played with Loosey Goosey Baby triumphing over Druids in the Men’s Final thanks in no small part to the efforts of Jake Dunley who has now won three consecutive Player of the Tournament awards! The Women’s contest then took pride of place in the final round of fixtures with Tagkeshi Women and Chargers Gals drawing 2-2 in an engrossing encounter. The honours ultimately went to Tagkeshi following the tiebreaker rule as they had scored first in the game with sunset following moments after the final whistle.

Thanks to our hosts Wasps FC; our team of referees and PSS International Removals, our referee partner.
