TagFest Wigan 2023 saw a record number of teams battle it out as we continued our partnership with Wigan St.Cuthberts ARLFC.  Alongside the magnificent tag rugby action on display we had the ‘Movies’ themed fancy dress, traditional lunchtime Tug Of War contest and our hotly contested but always fun annual pie eating competition.  The legendary after party, dancing and drinking the night way into the early hours rounded off a fabulous day.

We are excited to once again be given the honour of being the first Northern Tagfest of the Tagfest Series.  Tagfest Wigan will see the welcome return of the lunchtime tug of war and pie eating competition that have become synonymous with Tagfest Wigan since it’s inception.  Over the coming months we will be announcing further activities along with the fancy dress theme for the tournament.  In addition, we will be able to announce details of our after party.

Tagfest Wigan 2024 will continue at Wigan St.Cuthberts ARLFC, just a 25-30 minute walk from Wigan’s main train stations.  Wigan is a short distance from Manchester and due to it being on the West Coast mainline is just two hours on the train from London.
