Try Tag Rugby, a leading organisation in social sport, proudly announces the introduction of its pilot junior programme in Brighton & Hove this spring. After 15 years growing the game UK wide to the point where over 10,000 adults participated weekly last summer, the launch of Try Tag Rugby Juniors is an exciting development in the growth of Tag throughout the UK.

Alistair Davis, Try Tag Rugby co-founder and visionary, expressed his excitement, saying: “The launch of our first junior program in Brighton & Hove is a pivotal moment for us. Significant time has been spent planning and researching our junior Tag Rugby offerings, and we can’t wait to see the smiles on the faces of Brighton’s children this spring as they get their first experience of Try Tag Rugby”.

Continuing a Tradition of Success

Like Try Tag Rugby’s adult offering, our junior programmes of leagues, after school clubs and holiday camps will focus on convenience, fun and friendships. With safety, teamwork, social interaction and participation taking precedence over serious competition, we will offer an accessible sport to children of all sporting abilities and backgrounds.

Steph McCabe, Brighton adults and juniors license holder, shares her anticipation, stating: “I’m thrilled to see Try Tag Rugby extend its offerings to young players in our community. This pilot program marks the beginning of an exciting journey to get more children active and enjoying team sport. I’m looking forward to introducing many more young people to Tag Rugby and witnessing the positive impact it will have on the next generation.”
