Tag Sports CIC Women's Tournament 2025

Join us in Chiswick for our annual celebration of women’s Tag Rugby whilst raising funds for our charity partners Tag Sports CIC!

Taking place the day after the Women’s Rugby Union World Cup final at Twickenham, this is a great opportunity to spend a weekend in London taking in both the World Cup Final & playing Tag Rugby.

In 2024 this event broke the record for the largest stand alone women’s Tag Rugby tournament in the UK and in 2025 we’re planning an even bigger & better event!

Supporting this event for Tag Sports CIC will help them continue their work to increase the number of underrepresented groups having access to sport and physical activity throughout the UK.

WHAT TO EXPECT

• 20-30 women’s Tag Rugby teams
• Two categories – Open age & women’s 34’s
• 90 minutes of game time
• Suitable for all standards of teams.
• Travelling teams from all over the UK, Ireland & Europe
• DJ, Street food, onsite bar & more

TAG RUGBY FORMAT

• Maximum of 12 players per squad
• Try Tag Rugby’s standard rules
• All players must be registered for insurance purposes
• Players must be 18 or over to participate in the tournament and/or attend the after party.
• Women’s 34’s players must have been born on or before 31/12/1991.
• Teams will be seeded based on submitted squads. Squads must be complete by midday on 10th September.
• Seeding is done at the discretion of Tag Sports CIC & Try Tag Rugby, incomplete squads may result in higher seeding than expected
• Consumption of alcohol is prohibited until the tournament has concluded

PRESENTATION & AFTER PARTY

On completion of the finals, the presentation will take place in the club house. Post tournament drinks will also take place in the clubhouse with our DJ entertaining the crowd.

VENUE

Kings House Sports Ground is a short train ride from Central London to Barnes Bridge, then a 10 minute walk. The venue is just 4 miles from Twickenham Stadium. There is plenty of car parking and bike parking on site.

Full changing facilities are available on site for use before, during and after the tournament. Please note, dogs are not permitted at this venue unless required for assistance.

PLAYING KIT

ITF approved Tag Rugby shorts or tights are compulsory, available from the Try Tag Rugby shop in advance. Details on ITF Approved (Tag Rugby) Shorts / Details on Kit Items not Permitted. A limited number of shorts will also be available to hire on the day for £8.

Make your team stand out at the event by ordering a matching team kit! Orders must be submitted by midday, Friday 22nd August.

REGISTRATION

Team registration is available at the cost of £235 for squads of 12.
Individuals can register for £24. If registering as an individual we’ll add you to a team or create a team of other individuals.
