Spring League Registration!
Registration for our Spring London leagues is now open. Spring leagues start during February and March.
With the days getting longer and weather warming up, grass venues such as Shoreditch, East London RFC and Clapham Common return for the spring season.
Leagues are running across a mix of some great grass and all weather venues. Spring seasons are scheduled to begin from as soon as early February, with most leagues kicking off by the first week of March.
Spring leagues are running at Acton, Balham, Barnes (Bank of England Sports Centre), Barnes (Rosslyn Park), Battersea, Borough, Clapham Common, Clapham South, East London RFC, Highbury Fields, Kennington, North London (East Finchley), Olympic Park, Rotherhithe (Bacon's College), Rotherhithe (St Paul's), Shoreditch-Highbury, Shoreditch, Tooting Bec, Tooting Bec (Furzedown), Tower Bridge and Wandsworth Town (Wandle Rec). Other venues may be added. Details of our Thames Valley (Reading) and Yorkshire leagues can be seen in their respective sections of our website.
Early summer leagues at all our summer grass venues begin from the week of April 24th, with registration opening in mid to late February.
Spring registration is open to whole teams, part-teams (groups) and individual players who'd like to be placed in a team. Team places are available strictly on a first to pay the deposit basis until a league sells out.
All leagues come with after match social venues so that you can socialise with your team mates and opposition. With leagues being a mix of game lengths, please see the links below for the specific information on each league including pricing, which is worked out per game. See our FAQ section for general information.
Due to a shortage of available floodlit pitches in inner London, overall capacity is still greatly reduced from summer, so get in early to avoid missing out.

Registration is open to whole teams, part-teams and individual players who'd like to be placed in a team. Registration closes six days before the respective league starting date unless space in a particular league is listed above. Team places are available on a first to pay the deposit basis, with current teams given a priority window until 17 days prior to the league they are looking to join, beginning. However, many of the popular venues will sell-out well before the registration closing date and more than likely before the priority window closes. In this instance team registrations will be confirmed on a first to pay the deposit basis. To register for any Try Tag Rugby league or event listed above please click on the following links:
Note: Any team organisers looking to re-register an existing team should login to their account here, and re-enter the team for a new league through the my teams tab on your player dashboard.
All team registrations are not confirmed until a deposit payment of £100 has been paid. For players registering individually, your place is not confirmed until the full registration fee has been paid. Registration closes six days before the respective league starting date or whenever a league becomes full.
Leagues will fill up quickly! Team places are secured on a first to pay the league deposit basis. Don't leave confirming your registration until the last minute or your team may miss out!
Tag Rugby Shorts
Official Try Tag Rugby shorts or Try Tag Rugby ladies' tights (or International Tag Federation approved brands) must be purchased before taking to the pitch in all Try Tag Rugby leagues.
Tag shorts can always be bought from Try Tag Rugby staff by paying £12 in cash at all our leagues or events. Tag shorts (£12) and tights (£23) can also be purchased in our online shop, to be either picked up at your venue or to be posted out. If you already have a pair of Tag Rugby shorts or Tag Rugby tights, please note due to safety reasons (ie length of the shorts being longer than the tags) and consistency (ie strength and location of the Velcro patch) the only other brands of Tag shorts or Tag tights we allow in our leagues are brands sanctioned by the International Tag Federation (ITF) such are Oztag, SAS (NZ Tag Football) and ITRA (Ireland). Your shorts must have the Try Tag Rugby logo or the logo of one of the other full ITF member nations on them to be allowed to be worn in our leagues. Homemade shorts, any other brands of shorts (both UK made or abroad) and Tag Rugby belts are strictly not allowed to be worn in our leagues or events on safety and consistency grounds!
Please be aware that in all our leagues and events there is a talent cap, in place to spread our Great Britain international players across various teams. If you are looking to create a high level team full of international players, click here to make sure you are aware of the regulations.
